Restoring Window Joinery & Garage Doors

Nano-Clear® has a unique ability to rejuvenate faded old powder coated aluminium surfaces like window joinery, garage doors, fences, roofs, cladding, Colorsteel etc to look like new again. Its low viscosity penetrates the pores of old powdercoating or paint and reflects the original colour that resides deep underneath.

If you're thinking of retro-fit double glazing, Nano-Clear® is a great option to finish the upgrade once the glazing is completed. Once installed, the new joinery colour can contrast quite noticeably to the old, however Nano-Clear® can turn this contrast into a uniform colour and gloss - making the retrofitted units look new again.

Nano-Clear® applicators can also remove most scuff marks, bird dropping marks, cement & chemical splashes, paint spots etc, which enhances the overall appeal of the rejuvenated surface to sharpen the look of your home or commercial building. Corrosion Protection for Industrial Equipment

Nano-Clear® has been tested and proven in some of the world's harshest environments. From fertaliser production to salt harvesting, tanneries to cement manufacturing - if the environment is harsh and corrosive, Nano-Clear® will generally extend the life of the equipment operating within. Nano-Clear® is often applied to equipment such as forklifts, wheel loaders, generators / gensets, vessels, boats, trucks, bins, agricultural equipment and much more.

Nano-Clear® also has the capability to coat glass, polycarbonate, fibreglass, plastics, bare metal and wood for extreme UV and corrosion protection. With additives available to increase hardness, adhesion, hydrophobic and matting (reducing gloss levels) - there are various solutions that we can achieve for our customers requirements.

Acidity from crops and alkaline from fertalisers are hard on farm machinery, including tractors, which are also often subject to severe UV damage. Nano-Clear® can rejuvenate colour / gloss in old tractors but also protect new tractors from fading - whether they are metal, plastic or fibreglass.

Repainting Window Joinery & Garage Doors

We can spray paint your existing metal surfaces including garage doors, roofs, window joinery, fences & much more, to a professional quality finish that you can be proud of. Our most common applications for recolouring/repainting are window joinery, garage doors, and cladding, but we can repaint almost any surface. Once correctly prepared and painted, we apply Nano-Clear® to ensure the colour and gloss will remain for years. We mask to ensure no over-spray or drift.

If you were to only repaint a previously powder coated surface, without a suitable clear coat protecting from UV and other environmental conditions, the paint applied to a metal surface will likely underperform the original powder coating finish. This is partly because metal surfaces are exposed to substantially greater variations in temperature every day. It is also true that coating metals, plastics, fibreglass and glass generally requires quite different skillset and process to painting porous surfaces that most house painters are trained in. Nano-Clear® is proven to a substantially higher level of protection. 

Garage doors can often suffer unsightly oxidisation. New Zealand’s most common garage doors only have a 1 year warranty on the powder coating surface. We offer a 5 year warranty. With Nano-Clear®, your garage door holds its original gloss and colour for substantially longer, and in turn does not corrode.

Marine & Environment

Nano-Clear® is an excellent choice for boats and other marine assets - often outside in the sun and salt. By coating your hull and other areas in Nano-Clear® your will see the return of colour and gloss (both painted aluminium and fibreglass) and protect from fade and corrosion for years. As a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating, Nano-Clear® is significantly easier to clean.
